The long experience in Florence at the International Child Centre for Cerebral Palsy "A.Torrigiani" together with the team led by Professor Milani Comparetti, as well as the experience in Prague with the Professor Lesny and years of clinical practice in private centres including OSMAIRM, in Laterza (Ta), where I managed for about 20 years, they improved my skills in order to afford the diagnostic problems of rehabilitation interventions in favour of children with cerebral palsy.

The experience of training in Florence and international collaborations in psychomotor domain during the years ‘90s/’2000s in France, Spain, North and South America have given me the necessary expertises for: 

- rehabilitation problems for young patients with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders), learning disabilities and mental retardation, 

- Psychiatric Report Expert in case of child abuse.

My work concerning also the support of families who come into contact with similar illnesses by offering them a "second opinion", as Specialized Consultant.

MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS

Diagnosis in Child Neuropsychiatry is a difficult process that is subject to many factors: the time, the changing of social reality, the institution responsibilities, sometimes very fragile, along the children’s way.

Italian children in situations of fragility have benefit from our important legislation resources that allowed them to attend school together with children without disabilities.

A rehabilitation intervention is not the planning of a series of exercises or tasks that the children must do under the therapist’s guidance, but it is indeed, the search for a set of goals aimed at achieving the full children potential that disability has reduced.
